Constitutive equations describing the stress-strain relations, micromechanics and acromechanics approaches for mechanical analysis are reviewed. Since interfacial mechanics of composites is of primary importance in discussing the material behavior, this concept is also presented with its constitutive and governing equations. Finally, at the end of the chapter, strength failure theories for orthotropic materials and dynamic behavior of composites are discussed.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMechanics of Fiber CompositesBook Part2-s2.0-8505394260410.1016/B978-0-08-101871-2.00002-310.1016/B978-0-08-101871-2.00002-3
